Programs for companies

Before you can understand China, you have to understand yourself first. Otherwise you will quickly experience a cultural crash in the distance. Europe is a continent with a far advanced individualization – including thinking and acting. On every French town hall you can read "Egalité" meaning the equality of all humans along with freedom and brotherhood. With the French Revolution these central values spread all over Europe and are still influencing society today. In China the historical traditions root even further. Chinese are proud of their background and quickly feel harmed, if others doubt their values or overgo them. Especially the Chinese and German traditions differ enourmously. We want to help you comprehend Chinese thinking and acting from its beginning. The broad and deep understanding of the partner's culture is the basis for a good cooperation and business.

Wer China verstehen will, muss zunächst sich selbst verstehen.

Intercultural communication in the context of companies

China is the country of superlatives: The biggest population density, the strongest increase of billionaires, the highest consumption of consumer goods, the biggest market for new vehicles etc. But China also shows big contradictions and disparities: Between rich and poor, city and countryside, tradition and modern age, between innovative environment technology and ignorant pollution – one of the most impressive examples: China rushes ahead concerning renewable energies like green power, simultaneously it is the worlds biggest emissioner of CO2. Nevertheless the biggest contradiction is the capitalistic economy system in a communistically goverened country. Which ways of thinking and acting, which background and plan connect with these facts? Which role does Chinese tradition play in modern China, what effect does the cultural diversity have on communication and entrepreneurial thinking? And how can we deal with this conditions?

The intercultural training consists of two parts: The first conveys cultural basics and differences to the western-european thinking, the second trains the application. Cultural communication ist the conveyed soft skill – a necessary for every cooperation in China, the country with the biggest cultural distance to Europe.
